12.07.2022

At the end of June, Paris became another European capital, where the creators and connoisseurs of contemporary Ukrainian art had the opportunity to join Charity Art Project "HANDS FOR MOM". The main goal of the project is to help Ukrainian mothers who suffered in the Russia's brutal war against Ukraine and lost their arms to provide them with high-quality prostheses.

As part of this project, Charity Art Auctions have already been held in Berlin and Vienna, as well as in Lviv. This time, the Art Exhibition "RESISTE" was held in Paris (from 28th of June to 3th of July). It was hosted by the Czech Cultural Center in partnership with the Embassy of Ukraine in France and with the support of University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Kozytskyi Charity Foundation, Sorbonne Art Gallery, and Lviv Regional State Administration.

The exhibition featured works by famous Lviv artists. In particular there were ceramic artworks by HANNA DRUL, sculpture by VASYL ODREKHIVSKYI, paintings by MYKHAYLO BOKOTEY, VOLODYMYR BOGUSLAVSKYJ and GEIZA DERKE.

The event was attended by a wide audience of art connoisseurs bringing together a large number of cultural figures, as well as representatives of art and charitable organizations, diplomatic representatives and European youth.
