Art Exhibition "Unbreakable" in Prague

19.10.2022

In the first week of October, the grand opening of the art exhibition "Unbreakable" within the art project "We and World" took place in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - Prague, Czech Republic.

The exhibition "Unbreakable" presents paintings, ceramics and sculptures by artists from different regions of Ukraine, including the occupied ones. In total, there are 50 works by 26 Ukrainian artists who donate most of their works to charity. Each of them had a different fate, some actively working behind enemy lines, others went to war, others went through a tough evacuation. But everyone is united not only by the experienced past, but also by the desire to overcome the enemy, faith in victory and a better future.

Through color, form and content, each work of the art exhibition to a certain extent conveys the idea of stubbornness, resistance and invincibility of the Ukrainian people against the enemy. Every day during the war, this is demonstrated by Ukrainian soldiers, volunteers, doctors, priests, politicians, artists, pensioners, students - in a word, every Ukrainian. It is not possible to erase a human tragedy in Bucha, Olenivka, Izyum, Chernobaevka, Gostomel, Mariupol, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, but millions of Ukrainians have one common desire today - the desire to live in a peaceful country. A country that the whole world now knows about.

The charity exhibition realized within the framework of the art project "We and World" of the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation, aiming at promoting the Ukrainian art in the world. Exhibitions were held in Berlin, Vienna, Lvov, Paris, Rome, and then Canada, America and Australia. The charity exhibition is also supported by the Kkrel Komarek Charitable Family Foundation and the Lviv Regional State/Military Administration.

We remind you, the art exhibition "Unbreakable" will last one month: from October 5 to November 5, and will be open from 9 am to 9 pm every day.
