A Large-Scale Art Project "See And Hear Ukraine" Started In Lviv

27.08.2022

"See & hear Ukraine" is the name of the new large-scale art project, which was presented on August 26 by the Lviv National Philharmonic with the support of the Kozytskyi Charity Foudation as part of the WE & WORLD project.

The start of this project was the holding of the event "Beethoven. Brahms", where the Academic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the chief conductor - American, Ukrainian origin Teodor Kuhar and with the participation of the well-known soloist - pianist Oksana Rapita presented to Ukrainian listeners works full of deep symbolism with the events of our time.

This event is the first in a series of concerts of a large-scale tour of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Philharmonic in the United States of America, which will take place in early 2023. In particular, there are plans to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as in Chicago, Miami and other well-known American music venues.

Implementing the "See and Hear Ukraine" project as part of the tour, visual art will be presented to the world public in synergy with music, namely: the works of Ukrainian modern artists, which reflect a high and high-quality section of Ukrainian culture and self-awareness.
