Visiting the famous artist-stone cutter and jeweler Oleksandr Miroshnikov

Khrystyna Berehovska, art director of the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation, visited the workshop of the famous stone-carver and jeweler Oleksandr Miroshnikov at the Miro-Art Studio.

Oleksandr Miroshnikov is a Ukrainian stone-carving artist and jeweler.

He was born in 1962 in Mykolaiv, Lviv region.

He is an honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, a stone-carving artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and is a full Cavalier of the Orders of Carl Faberge Memorial Foundation.

For more than 20 years of working with precious stones and metals he has created a number of unique compositions which are impressive in content as well as for the virtuosity of their execution. O. Miroshnikov is an author of a unique technology of semiprecious stones, the technique of micro-miniature art performance elements with a high degree of detail. The artist masterfully selects colors from nature, unlike painters who can mix the right shade.

Alexander Miroshnikov's works can be found in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Europe, USA and the United Arab Emirates. The artist regularly participates in exhibitions.

He is the prominent artist who impresses with his brilliant craftsmanship.
