Last week in Lviv was marked by an important event in the artistic life of our city, which affects both the promotion of contemporary Ukrainian art and, in particular, the works of Lviv artists, and draws public attention to the needs and immediate rehabilitation of Ukrainian mothers who suffered in the war.

On June 16, the Diogenes Gallery, located in the heart of Lviv, hosted the third Charity Art Auction "HANDS FOR MOTHER" - previous auctions of the same name have already taken place in Berlin and Vienna (you can read about the “HANDS FOR MOM” art project, its duration and ways of joining in previous posts and directly on the auction website deuge.net/h4m).

Under the programme of Auction, 32 works of painting, graphics, sculpture, ceramics by famous Lviv artists of different generations were presented.

Thanks to the active actions of the auction participants, 21 works of art were sold for a total of about 30.000 €. The accumulated funds are intended for Ukrainian mothers who suffered in the war and lost their arms to provide them with high-quality prostheses.
