Thanks to the collaboration between the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation and the German company SIEMENS, a new modern laboratory called "Digitalization in Industry" has started work at the Faculty of Mechanics, Energy, and Information Technologies of Lviv National Environmental University. The official opening of the laboratory took place on October 19, with the participation of the university's rector, dean, and faculty members, as well as authorized representatives of the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation and SIEMENS.

The funds from the foundation were used to renovate the auditorium, purchase new furniture, install multimedia equipment and climate control, as well as acquire computers. SIEMENS also installed licensed TIA Portal software on the computers.

The functioning of the laboratory is a significant step in preparing students for engineering specialties in accordance with current quality standards and the relevance of their skills and knowledge to market needs. Therefore, it will have a positive impact on the future career prospects of applicants from this faculty.

Investing in the knowledge and skills of the younger generation is, without exaggeration, the foundation of our country's development. Therefore, initiatives aimed at significant improvements in this system today are extremely important.
