Exhibition “Mariupol: Lost Grandeur” Opens at Zenyk Art Gallery on Mariupol Day

26.09.2025

With the support of the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation and the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the exhibition “Mariupol: Lost Grandeur” opened on September 25, 2025, at Zenyk Art Gallery, marking Mariupol Day.

The street exhibition features photographs by journalist and photographer Ivan Stanislavskyi, capturing more than 26 mosaics and stained-glass works by Alla Horska, Borys Plaksii, Viktor Zaretskyi, and Valentyna Zubchenko — artworks that once proudly adorned Mariupol.

Tragically, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the fate of the city of Mary has been devastating: mass deaths from Russian shells and bombs, hunger, blockade, occupation… It remains one of the darkest chapters in Ukraine’s history. Yet our belief is unshaken — we will reclaim and revive what is ours!
