Within the framework of the art project “We And World” of the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation, a new direction of activity was started - an art residency.

For 9 days from 06/01/2023 - 06/09/2023, 8 artists from different regions of Ukraine (Rivne, Chernihiv, Luhansk, Khmelnytsky, Zakarpattia, Poltava, Lviv) were simultaneously staying at the Yuzhny Sanatorium in Truskavets. Despite the full-scale invasion, they did not leave the country and continued to create and uphold the cultural front even during air-alarms and missile attacks.

The artists had the opportunity to work in favorable environment for their creativity, exchange experiences, attend lectures, and learn about the culture of the Lviv region.

As a result, within the framework of the art residency the artists emotionally recovered, focused on their work, experimented with new formats, techniques and materials, and established communication with representatives of other artistic circles. This contributed to the exchange of experiences, perspectives and ideas on the future cooperation.
