For the first time, the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation has presented visual art in collaboration with the fashion industry. The artistic project, titled "Birds Sing Even in War," took place on June 5, 2024, at "Villa Tre Madonne" (Embassy of Belgium to the Holy See), Rome, Italy.
The exhibition consists of three parts/mediums: paintings by Viktor and Makar Moskalyuk (father and son), a fashion performance by Oksana Karavanska and the Theater "Word and Voice," and jewelry art from the Ukrainian studio Miro Art., artist Olexander Miroshnikov.
The painting exhibition by father and son Moskalyuks presents 18 emotional canvases on the theme of "celebration." Celebration, carnival, mood, happy ending, reliable beginning—these categories of feelings that Ukrainians strive not to lose in their anxious present dedicated to the life of Ukrainians despite the war, despite the difficult circumstances, with the right to live positively and nurture a "carnival" in the soul.
Representatives from over 30 embassies attended the exhibition, including Portugal, the Czech Republic, Mozambique, Mexico, Poland, Peru, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Canada, Ireland, Croatia, Colombia, and others.
The project was supported by the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation and the Embassy of Ukraine to the Holy See (Vatican).
