13.12.2024

On December 13, Lviv hosted the All-Ukrainian “Power of Influence” Awards. The event was dedicated to honoring the exceptional contributions of those who have significantly advanced our nation’s development during the war.

Nominees were awarded in the categories of “Heroes,” “Heroes (Posthumously),” “Volunteers,” “Business,” “Opinion Leaders,” “State Builders,” and “Medicine.”

Andriy Matolych, Director of the Foundation, had the honor of presenting an award to the public organization “Regional Union for the Social Protection of Combatants and Families of the Fallen Soldiers.”
Since 2014, this organization has supported combat veterans and their families, organized charitable events for veterans, and developed support groups for children and teenagers who have lost loved ones.

The event also featured a charity auction in support of the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, raising over 3.5 million UAH.

An especially emotional moment marked the evening’s conclusion: the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, presented posthumous awards to the families of fallen Heroes – Ivan Datsko, Taras Chaika, and Taras Matviiv.

Recognition was also given to civic leader, linguist, and educator Iryna Farion and Senior Soldier of the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, activist Vasyl Osoba. Their awards were received by Iryna Farion’s daughter and Vasyl Osoba’s wife, Sofia Semchyshyn.
The Foundation continues to help those who defend Ukraine’s independence.

Together to Victory!
